Roy Nachimzon

Roy Nachimzon co-heads the banking and finance department at Herzog Fox & Neeman. He focuses his practice on transactional work and regularly represents banks, institutional investors, private equity funds and corporate borrowers in acquisition finance, commercial loans, restructurings, and other finance transactions. Roy’s work includes the representation of both lenders and borrowers, and he has developed substantial expertise in cross-border transactions. Roy also has significant business experience in leadership roles, having previously served as executive vice-president of Global Banking and Finance at El-Ad Group and as senior vice-president and head of the Israeli Desk at Israel Discount Bank of New York.
Roy’s recent clients include Goldman Sachs, HSBC, CK Hutchison, Bank Leumi, Bank Mizrahi, Bank Discount, 8Fig and Credito Ltd. As a sample of his recent work, Roy:
(i)was the lead partner on behalf of CK Hutchison in the enforcement and sale of the controlling stake in Partner Communications for $300 million;
(ii)was the lead partner on the landmark NIS1.1 billion ($c.300 million) financing for the acquisition of Haifa Port by the Adani group;
(iii)was the lead partner of 8Fig in relation to a $120 million revolving credit facility from Silicon Valley Bank; and
(iv)was the lead partner for Credito in relation to secured corporate senior and mezzanine loans in an aggregate amount of NIS 500 million ($c.140 million) from Phoenix Insurance.
