Herzog Fox & Neeman's Environment and Climate Change practice advises on numerous M&A transactions, joint ventures, financings and offerings, addressing environmental opportunity and risk management issues. Transactional advice includes environmental due diligence to identify and evaluate liability and financial risk, drafting and negotiation of contracts to allocate environmental risk, and post-closing advice on regulatory and operational matters as well as addressing transaction-triggered requirements for assessment and remediation.
The practice is uniquely experienced in advising financial institutions on lenders' environmental risks and works with some of the largest domestic and international financial institutions on environmentally-related risk management issues.

The practice has been involved over the years in many of Israel's central project developments, advising on environmental law aspects and addressing a multitude of complex risk management issues, including representation before planning committees and regulatory agencies for the purpose of securing development and operational permits, advise on the preparation of environmental and health impact assessments and engagement in stakeholder dialogue.
