Keren is a partner in the Environment and Climate Change practice at Herzog Fox & Neeman, providing regulatory support and legal advice in legal proceedings and transactions across a broad range of environmental, climate and ESG matters.

Keren regularly advises domestic and international corporations, as well as some of Israel’s largest industrial facilities and infrastructure projects, including in the energy, natural gas, water, data center, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. Her work includes advising on environmental regulation, permitting and licensing, environmental risk management, air emissions, soil and water contamination, extended producer responsibility, marine discharges, hazardous substances and occupational health and safety in environmental contexts.

Keren has extensive experience representing the business sector before regulators and government authorities, including the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Energy and the Water Authority. She supports clients in complex environmental permitting processes, the formulation of regulatory position papers and ongoing engagement with regulators. She also represents corporations in administrative appeals and objections to regulatory conditions imposed under environmental permits and licenses.

In addition, Keren advises on complex commercial transactions, including M&As, with a focus on environmental and regulatory aspects. In this context, she conducts environmental due diligence and assists in identifying and managing environmental risks.
