Associate

Dana is an associate in the Environment and Climate Change practice at Herzog Fox & Neeman and provides regulatory support and legal advice in the context of legal proceedings and transactions across a broad range of environmental, climate and ESG matters.

Dana regularly advises some of Israel’s largest industrial facilities and infrastructure projects on environmental regulation, permitting, environmental risk management, hazardous substances, waste, soil and groundwater contamination and air pollution.

She also advises domestic and international corporations, as well as climate-tech startups, on a variety of climate-related matters. Her areas of expertise include carbon markets, nature markets and renewable energy certificates (I-REC), as well as domestic and international climate regulation.

Dana has extensive experience representing the business sector before government authorities, including the Ministry of Environmental Protection. She supports Israeli corporations in legislative processes and policy development, and specializes in assessing regulatory impacts, preparing comments on draft legislation and assisting in the implementation of new regulatory frameworks.

In addition, Dana represents both international and domestic corporations, as well as corporate officers, in environmental litigation. She is involved in several of Israel’s most significant environmental class actions and has represented industrial facilities, infrastructure projects and senior executives.
