Yossi Ashkenazi co-heads Herzog’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution department.

Yossi has more than 30 years of experience working on complex litigation cases. He is experienced in a wide variety of areas, including class action proceedings, corporate and securities litigation, commercial litigation and white-collar proceedings, including internal investigations.

Yossi represents multinationals active in global industries on Israeli class actions with an emphasis on anti-trust, product liability, securities and corporate class actions and consumer protection, many of which are litigated in parallel to similar class, group, or individual actions in other jurisdictions.

In recent years, Yossi has argued various cases before the Supreme Court of Israel, including precedential cases pertaining to the private international law rules applicable to multinational defendants in class actions. Yossi also advises clients in all areas of white-collar crime, defending major figures, such as Prime Minister Netanyahu in his pre-indictment hearing before the Attorney General.

Yossi’s notable clients include JP Morgan, HP, DAF, Philips, Verifone, HSBC, BNP Paribas, Nintendo, Canon, LG, Israel Electric Company, Adler, GIA, Heinz, Ashdod Port, Noy Fund, the Israeli Labor Party, and the Maccabi Health Fund (HMO).
