On September 1, 2024, a significant ruling was issued by the Economic Department of the Tel Aviv District Court in case 61235-09-19 Sagiv v. Olympus – Economic Solutions Ltd. (hereinafter: the “Ruling”).

The Ruling addresses key issues related to the provision of investment advice, investment marketing, and portfolio management services under the Regulation of Investment Advice, Investment Marketing and Portfolio Management Law – 1995 (“Investment Advice Law”), and includes important conclusions regarding the manner in which these services are provided and the limitations imposed on the service providers.
