14 May 2018
Herzog Fox & Neeman’s Capital Markets and Securities Department advised the Israel Electric Company (“IEC”) and its Board of Directors in negotiations with state officials on the historic reform and the approval process of Israel’s electricity market.
The reform in the electricity sector is expected to be one of the most complex reforms in Israeli corporate history, both logistically and judicially, and will include the sale of a number of IEC’s production stations, the sale of the electricity system management activities to its sister company, and a structural and comprehensive transformation of the company.
The reform is expected to amount to NIS 7-8 billion.
IEC were advised by Ehud Sol, Partner and Head of Capital Markets and Securities, Partner Nir Dash and Yehuda Hommfor.
