We were invited to take part in writing the International Comparative Legal Guide – Gambling 2021. The guide offers an overview of gambling law and regulation in various countries. Partner Liran Barak, from our gaming regulation department, wrote the chapter about Israel. Beyond reviewing the current situation, the guide also tries to assess potential looming changes in regulation. “In Israel, no changes are being discussed currently, but if they were, in this political climate, they would likely lean towards further restriction rather than liberalization.”
