Iris is a senior partner in Herzog Fox & Neeman’s Antitrust & Competition Department and a leading expert in merger control. She advises large entities in various industries (e.g., import-export, tech, pharmaceuticals and more), with a focus on multinationals, on all aspects of Antitrust and Competition Law. This includes complex mergers, restrictive arrangements, monopolies, the Food Law and Concentration Law, compliance, ICA enforcement proceedings and investigations, the day-to-day operations of clients with high exposure to antitrust and competition laws.
Iris is extensively experienced in representing entities before the Israeli Competition Authority and the Competition Tribunal on various procedures – such as administrative fines, declarations of breach, monopoly proclamations, exemption requests and pre-rulings – for clients active in a variety of sectors, including hi-tech and telecom, bio and pharma, finance, transportation, energy, infrastructure, agriculture, food and retail.
Iris has an illustrious career as a top-notch legal advisor: she is a former member of Tadmor and Co. law firm’s Antitrust team, where she advised prominent local and international companies in multiple sectors on various matters; worked for over a decade at the Israeli Competition Authority, where she served as head of the legal department’s mergers section and was in charge of the food and retail sectors among others; served as a member of the criminal litigation team of the Israeli Antitrust Authority, handling prominent cases such as the liquefied petroleum gas and flooring cartels; and acted as Regulation Director for a multinational telecoms company.

Iris handled Israeli merger control for both parties of the Disney-21st Century Fox transaction. She also represented ChemChina in Israeli merger control aspects of its acquisition of Syngenta.
