Eden is an associate in Herzog Fox & Neeman’s Technology and Regulation department. Eden specializes in the regulatory aspects of emerging industries, including fintech, payments, digital financial services, trading platforms, data aggregators and artificial intelligence. Eden advises clients on the rules and requirements that apply to their activities and help them navigate their business across multiple jurisdictions. His areas of knowledge include financial regulation, payment services and e-money wallets, securities, anti-money laundering, privacy and data protection.

Prior to joining Herzog, Eden was an attorney at the Israel Securities Authority where he was responsible for international fintech regulation in the International department. Eden was a member of the drafting team of the proposed Financial Information Service Providers law, that aims to implement open banking regime in Israel. Before that, he led the work on crypto-assets regulation in the Corporation Finance department, coordinated a special taskforce for the regulation of Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), and co-authored its final report.

Eden is a Certified Information Privacy Professional on European data protection regulation (CIPP/E), with comprehensive knowledge of the GDPR. He also acquired basic programming and data analysis skills in Python and SQL.
