Dear Friends and Colleagues,

As you will have seen on the news, the State of Israel was last night subject to a barrage of incoming missiles and unmanned drones from the Islamic Republic of Iran and its proxies.

Israel has spent many years developing cutting-edge technology and air defence systems,  which last night performed in such a faultless manner that over 99% of the incoming objects were taken down.

In an unprecedented coalition, Air Forces from the United States, the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Jordan supported the Israeli Air Force.

Since the 7th October, Israel has been involved in a war that we did not want. The war has impacted each of us personally.

However, from a human, social and economic perspective, we have seen the amazing strength and resilience of the people of Israel. The economy remains robust. We have been extremely busy throughout, with ongoing work in each of our departments (including, very many cross-border M&A and technology transactions). That is our test as an office, and we are proud of our achievements in these difficult times. 

Our thoughts and prayers remain with the 133 hostages held captive in Gaza. Our prayers are with them  and their families – may they be reunited soon. 

In the meantime, we would like to personally thank each and every one of you for the ongoing messages of support, solidarity and the ongoing work that we are doing together on behalf of our mutual clients.
