Yuval Meidar

Yuval’s practice focuses on domestic and international cross-border mergers and acquisitions and the representation of high-tech companies (early-stage, mature and public companies) in their corporate and ongoing activities and investment transactions. In addition, Yuval advises senior management of publicly traded and private companies on corporate governance, shareholder affairs and securities matters, as well as strategic decisions. Yuval also has extensive experience in representing international and domestic equity funds, VCs and other investors in their investment activities.
In 2020 – 2021 and 2007 – 2012 Yuval was part of the management team at Varonis Systems (NASDAQ:VRNS) where he served as the Vice President and General Counsel.
Prior to Varonis, Yuval worked as a foreign associate in the M&A department of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in the New York office. Before that Yuval worked as a corporate attorney for several years at Naschitz Brandes Amir.
During the course of his 22 years of career, Yuval advised on some of Israel’s most notable and complex cross broader M&A transactions, such as the acquisition of Mellanox Technologies (former NASDAQ listed company) by Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) for $7 billion, the acquisition of EZchip (former NASDAQ listed company) by Mellanox Technologies for $811 million, the acquisition of Cumulus Networks by Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) and acquisition of Leaba Semiconductor by Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO).
Yuval holds a MBA degree (concentration in finance and accounting) from Tel Aviv University and a LLB degree (cum laude and dean’s list) from The College of Management.
