Omer Ben-Weiss is an associate in Herzog’s labour law department with a focus on advising local and international clients on a wide range of employment matters. His practice includes restructuring, company closures, mass layoffs, collective bargaining agreements, employment disputes, and compliance with evolving labour regulations in Israel and beyond.
Omer represents public and private sector clients in complex employment litigation, including individual claims, class actions, collective disputes, senior employee separations, and post-employment competition restrictions. He also provides legal guidance before the relevant governmental authorities. During the recent war in Israel, he played a key role in advising major employers on rapidly changing employment regulations in response to mass enlistment and economic challenges.
His recent work includes representing clients in multimillion-shekel disputes, handling strategic negotiations in employment disputes, and supporting organizations in managing potential nationwide labour disputes. He also advises on competition-related litigation, facilitates collective agreements for companies undergoing significant workforce restructuring, and provides ongoing counsel to leading corporations.
