Our client -IEC – Israel Electric Corporation has announced that a partnership of Edelcom, Edeltech and Shikun & Binui is the winning bidder in the tender for the sale of the 1,140 MW Ramat Hovav power plant for a price of approximately NIS 4.2 billion. The sale is another step in the implementation of the structural reform in the energy sector following last year’s sale of the Alon Tavor power plant by IEC.
