Idan Yehuda

Idan Yehuda is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department and Head of the Rights Holders (Tenants) Representation practice in urban renewal transactions.

Idan is consistently recognized by the international legal directory Legal 500, where he has been ranked as a “Rising Star” and a “Next Generation Partner” in the field of Real Estate and Construction. He is also a member of the Israel Bar Association’s Urban Renewal Committee and serves as Head of the Legal Division of the College of Management Academic Studies (COLMAN) Alumni Association.

Idan has extensive experience advising and representing rights holders in complex combination transactions within the framework of urban renewal projects, including TAMA 38/1 (strengthening and expansion), TAMA 38/2 (demolition and reconstruction), and evacuation and reconstruction (pinui-binui) projects. In this context, Idan represents rights holders in large-scale urban renewal transactions throughout Israel, with a particular focus on the Tel Aviv and Gush Dan area.

His representation of rights holders includes: advising during the initial organization stage and formation of the owners’ representation; assisting in the appointment of consultants on behalf of the owners (such as construction supervisors and real estate appraisers) and drafting engagement agreements; managing tender processes for selecting developers; negotiating urban renewal agreements with developers; leading the process of executing the agreements with the owners and addressing their legal needs; overseeing planning stages; liaising with urban renewal authorities, where applicable; negotiating with financing entities while safeguarding the owners’ rights; advising on registration of rights; and providing ongoing legal counsel throughout the lifecycle of the project.

In addition to leading the rights holders practice, Idan serves as co-head of the firm’s interns program and is actively involved in recruitment, training, and professional development, including delivering lectures and workshops to law students.
