Herzog Authors Israel Chapter in Chambers Global Practice Guide 2025: Collective Redress & Class Actions

Herzog has contributed the Israel chapter to the 2025 edition of the Chambers and Partners Global Practice Guide, Collective Redress & Class Actions.

Authored by Joseph Ashkenazi, Head of Herzog’s Litigation Department, together with Shai Kagan, Isaac Shragay and Moran Yemini, the chapter offers a focused overview of Israel’s class action regime, including the legal framework, certification process, remedies, settlements and funding.

It also examines recent Supreme Court decisions and key market trends, including the application of Israeli law and jurisdiction to multinational companies, developments across consumer protection, data privacy, gaming, product liability and competition law, and the proposed Amendment No. 16 to the Class Actions Law.
