Dear Clients and Colleagues,

We would like to inform you that the Israeli Government has decided to change its policies regarding the entry of foreigners into Israel. Effective January 10, 2022, (the evening between Sunday and Monday) vaccinated and/or recovering foreigners from orange and green countries will be allowed entry into Israel. According to the Ministry of Health’s requirements, such entry is subject to the passenger’s completion of an online form as well as a negative PCR test conducted before and after arrival.

Non-vaccinated and/or non-recovering foreigners (as defined by the Ministry of Health) will not be allowed entry into Israel.

The following countries have been designated as “red”:

United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Ethiopia, Turkey, Tanzania, Mexico, Scotland, and Switzerland.

All arrivals from countries on the “red” list must perform a PCR test upon landing in Israel.  Those who are considered “vaccinated” or “recovered” according to Israeli regulations must stay in home isolation for seven days, and shall perform an additional PCR test on the seventh and final day of isolation.

Foreign experts arriving from “red” countries are not permitted entry into Israel. If someone is traveling from a “red ” country and they receive a positive PCR test result whilst at a Covid-19 hotel, then the individual will be required to remain at the facility for the duration of their isolation.

Any individuals arriving from non-“red” countries are only required to isolate for either 24 hours, or until the receipt of a negative PCR test result from the test conducted upon their arrival at the airport, whichever occurs earlier. Non-vaccinated individuals or those who have never received confirmation of recovery from Covid-19 (all according to the Israeli regulations) will be required to isolate at a government-designated Covid-19 hotel until the PCR test result is available. Upon receiving a negative result, such persons will be allowed to transfer to home isolation, and shall perform an additional PCR test on the seventh day of isolation.

Israeli citizens are not permitted to travel from Israel to any “red” country without special approval.
