In accordance with the Israeli government’s latest Coronavirus restrictions, the following countries will be designated as “red” as of tonight at midnight:

United Arab Emirates, Ireland, Norway, Spain, Finland, France and Sweden.

As of December 22, 2021, the following countries will be designated as “red”:

United State, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Canada, Switzerland and Turkey.

As of today, the following countries have already been designated as “red”:

Uganda, Seychelles, Comoros, Cabo Verde, Angola, UK, Eswatini, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Botswana, Burundi, Burkina Faso, Benin, Ghana, Gabon, Djibouti, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Denmark, South Africa, South Sudan, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Ivory Coast, Togo, Tanzania, Liberia, Lesotho, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mali, Madagascar, Mozambique, Malawi, , Nigeria, Niger, Namibia, Sao Tome and Principe, Somalia, St. Helena, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Scotland, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Republic of Cameroon, Kenya, Reunion (France) and Rwanda.

All arrivals from countries on the “red-list” must perform a PCR test upon landing in Israel.  Those who are considered “vaccinated” or “recovered” according to Israeli regulations must stay in home isolation for seven days, and shall perform an additional PCR test on the seventh and final day of isolation.

The Israeli regulations, which are constantly subject to change, will identify who constitutes a “non-vaccinated,” or “recovered” person. Non-vaccinated individuals or those who are not deemed “recovered” (all according to the Israeli regulations) will be required to isolate at a government-designated Covid-19 hotel until the PCR test result is returned. Upon receiving a negative result, such persons will be allowed to transfer to home isolation, and shall perform an additional PCR test on the seventh day of isolation. In the event of a positive test result, they will be required to stay in the government-designated Covid-19 hotel until recovery.

Foreign experts are not permitted to enter Israel from any “red” countries without special approval.

Israeli citizens are not permitted to travel from Israel to any “red ” country, without special approval.
