Einat is a partner in the Environment and Climate Change practice at Herzog Fox & Neeman, providing regulatory support and legal advice on a wide range of environmental, climate and ESG matters in the context of legal proceedings and transactions.
Einat advises both domestic and international corporations across a broad range of sectors, with a particular focus on manufacturing industries, infrastructure and ports, as well as public corporations and climate-tech startups. Her areas of expertise include environmental regulation of industrial facilities, climate policy and regulation, climate risk management and environmental and climate-related disclosure obligations, as well as transactions in global carbon markets.
Einat has extensive experience advising corporations on environmental regulation and permitting matters, including in the fields of air quality, hazardous substances, waste and extended producer responsibility. She supports clients in their engagement with regulatory authorities, the implementation of regulatory requirements and the integration of domestic and international environmental and climate regulations.
In addition, Einat represents business sector clients in commercial transactions in the climate sector, particularly those involving the development, generation and commercialization of carbon credits. In this context, she also advises startups on the sale of future carbon credits, their integration into commercial agreements and compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements in carbon markets.
Einat is also involved in shaping regulatory positions and advancing climate and ESG policy, including participation in drafting position papers on key legislation and regulation in this field.
Furthermore, Einat advises on M&A transactions, including assessing environmental and climate aspects of transactions, conducting environmental due diligence and advising on regulatory and environmental risk management.
