Efri Berkovich is a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, specialising in complex civil and commercial disputes, which frequently involve cross-border elements.
Efri possesses 15 years of extensive experience in representing foreign and Israeli clients before all judicial instances, as well as domestic and international arbitration instances.
Efri provides counsel in a wide range of matters including, corporate claims for breach of contract, misrepresentation and fraud, breach of distribution and agency agreements, administrative law, representing defendants in class actions and mass tort claims, and environmental claims. Among Efri’s clients are private and public corporations from the food industry, pharmaceutical, e-commerce, infrastructure (transportation, energy, electricity, water desalination), insurance, traditional industries, and high-tech.

Examples for representative cases:
Representing a BOT concessionaire of a large transportation project in a claim for enforcement of a facility agreement in the amount of over USD 250 million;
Representing a pharmaceutical company in a class action application filed against it in the amount of approximately USD 250 million, in which the plaintiff withdrawn the application after the cross-examinations stage;
Representing a concessionaire of a large infrastructure project in a class action application filed against him in the amount of approximately USD 300 million, and achieving a summary dismissal, in limine, of the application;
Representing an Israeli company in an international arbitration in accordance with the UNCITRAL Rules with regard to the acquisition of a foreign company and wining an award of approximately USD 10 million;
Representing an owner of a water desalination facility in several large scale arbitrations concerning the establishment of the facility.
