Herzog Fox & Neeman advised French, global, biotech group ‘Solabia’, producer of natural ingredients for cosmetics, in their acquisition of an 80% stake in Israeli Algatech (‘Algatechnologies’).

The acquisition of ‘Algatech’, manufacturer of unique ingredients from microalgae on a large commercial scale, will enable Solabia to deepen its positioning in the foods and food additives market, as well in the cosmetics and pharmaceuticals industries.

The deal was led by Corporate and Securities members, Partner, Asaf Nahum, with the assistance of Partner, Reut Alcalay.
